Attendee Testimonials

“Can’t say enough great things about Cribs for Kids. We are so honored to be a certified hospital (Boston Children’s). The Sammi and Sasha dolls are amazing for education, the Ambassador training is fabulous, and we are thrilled to be providing Cribettes, crib sheets and wearable blankets from Cribs for Kids to our families in need. So much information on the Cribs for Kids website – just the best resource all around!”

Sara Drumm, RN, CCRN
Boston Children’s Hospital

“From my personal experience as a virtual attendee, you can feel not as engaged as the in-person attendees. Cribs for Kids Conference was one of the best virtual conferences I have attended. All the sessions were informational, and engaging, leaving attendees with out of box ideas and practical solutions to implement in our area of work. I am excited and looking forward to the next conference.”

Tana-kae Lews
ADPH State Perinatal Program

“Cribs for Kids has built an international community united by shared goals. There is ample opportunity to teach, to share, to listen, to question and to build collaboration. In short, it provides an outstanding professional experience.”

Take a Look at the 2024 Conference

May 7-10, 2024

Over the course of the event, attendees immersed themselves in a dynamic exchange of ideas, emerging research, and practical ideas on improving SUID rates in our communities. Attendees had the ability to join discussion groups within the platform to connect and share ideas. With speaker permission, concurrent, plenary, and poster presentation recordings are to be shared with registrants after the event.

With over seventy-five speakers presenting over fifty sessions in a span of three days, attendees gained insight and knowledge that will inspire a change in how we approach safe infant sleep.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The conference is 100% virtual and will be hosted through the Cvent platform.

  • Our in-person conference used to be 2 1/2 days from 8 AM to 5 PM ET. However, when we switched to the virtual platform, we decided to change the time to 11 AM to 5 PM over 3 1/2 days to be mindful of our conference attendees who are joining on the West Coast of the United States. This additional day ensured that we didn’t lose any of the great content while beginning later in the day.

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, Cribs for Kids pivoted our conference into a virtual format. We found that we could cross geographical and financial barriers for many more people because attendees only had to worry about the registration fee and not the cost of travel, lodging, meals, and more. In 2022 and 2024, we were able to welcome more attendees and more change-makers than we ever could when we offered the conference in person.

Plus, the great benefit to our attendees is that we record all presentations. So not only do you get the presentation slides, but you are also given a recording of the presentation after the conclusion of the conference.

  • Yes, presentations are recorded. Presentation recordings are shared after the conference with the permission of the presenter.

Presentation recordings are only given to those who registered for the conference and are not to be shared with non-conference attendees.

  • Your registration fee includes access to all 4 days of the conference, networking discussion groups, recordings of presentations (with presenter permission) after the conference, and more.

  • Cribs for Kids offers multiple payment options for your convenience. While credit card payments can be made directly through the registration platform Cvent, we also welcome payments via check. To register using a non-credit card payment method, simply proceed with your registration as usual and choose your preferred alternative payment option during checkout.

For those paying by check, you can make the payment out to and send it to the address below:

  • Due to evolving expectations for nursing and social work continuing education, combined with increased administrative and financial barriers, Cribs for Kids is unable to provide continuing education credits for this year’s conference.

At the conclusion of the conference, for those who indicated an interest in earning CEs, Cribs for Kids can suggest other training options specific to infant safe sleep education that provide credit. Alternatively, Cribs for Kids can provide you with an official certificate of attendance and a copy of the final agenda, which you can submit to your licensure to determine if they will grant credit.

To receive the list of safe sleep trainings and/or to receive your official certificate of attendance, please send an email to info@cribsforkids.org after the conclusion of the conference.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

  • Yes, Cribs for Kids is happy to provide attendees with a Certificate of Attendance for those who need to submit one to their employer for reimbursement or for those who want to submit it to their licensure for continuing education.

To request your Certificate of Attendance, please email us at info@cribsforkids.org after the conclusion of the conference.
