Denise began her journey with Cribs for Kids in 2014 helping with efforts in the warehouse and organizing special projects. When she is not filling orders and scheduling trucks to deliver our Cribettes and Safe Sleep Survival Kits, Denise absolutely excels at organizing our pool of Valued Volunteers. Thanks to Denise, hundreds of volunteers come through our warehouse each year to help us reach our shipping goals. Her biggest claim to fame in the volunteer game to date was her coordination of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law volunteer project. We were amazed to see the entire first-year class show up by the busload to spend the day assembling Safe Sleep Survival Kits. Being that we were just moving into our new building, they also wasted no time helping us with cleaning, painting, changing light bulbs, whatever needed to be done. Denise’s co-workers describe her as hardworking, focused and valuable. Denise is also recognized as being very sincere with an infectious laugh and smiling eyes. Denise is incredibly mission oriented and we are grateful that she brings her positive attitude and wide array of talents to our team every day!
